Provisions for identification labelling

The requirements for identification labelling are as specified in Directive 91/493/EEC, chapter 7 of the annex. The directive applies to imports to the Community from third countries and has been implemented in Danish legislation in the order regarding veterinary checks.

In the directive, it is stated that the identification labelling must appear on the packaging or, in the case of a unpackaged product, in the accompanying documents.
